Never has a single urge unleashed such a torrent of comic response. You guys are crackers! Ladies and Germs we have a winner! Honorable Mention to Tom...though his admission makes one wonder what that meeting was all about.
That's very cool. I have a few family heirlooms but nothing shaving related. I also have an extra Rolls handle. PM me your address and I'll send it to you. --Bob
Like you have said before....only those who have tried it....Know! I have that urge all the time....But only while she's still in them....};^) Yep...one of the Worlds finest travel razors....Hands down...
Man, I turn my back for a minute..... How long is it now going to take before I can shave with the H1 again without going into a laughing fit? It's dangerous to be laughing hysterically while razor buffing against the grain....I'm going to give it a try....If anything happens, it's on you......You know who you are!

MENTHOL MADNESS SOTD Sun. 5/8/16 Prep: Noxzema Classic PSO: RR Essential Oil of Lime SS: TSD Ized SubZero Shave Stick SB: Semogue 620 Boar Razor: Pal Injecto-Matic Blade: Schick Super Chromium ASB: Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill AS: Stirling Glacial Spearmint Shower Soap Bar: Grandpa's Patchouli/Aloe Cologne: Avant-Garde by Lanvin Good morning guys. First shave this morning with my new to me Pal Injecto-Matic and what a wonderful shave it was! This razor is silky smooth and efficient beyond my other injectors and on par with my Schick adjustable in terms of aggression. Dolphin smooth after 3 passes with ease. I'm using it again tomorrow, it's that good. I would like to thank @Karl G for tipping me off to it. Frozen face again today and loving it, what a great start to the day. Have a great day friends!
I'm using it again tomorrow, it's that good. Congratulations - very glad you enjoyed it. You may find that there isn't enough stubble tomorrow morning to work with. You might have to go with a one pass shave if you are determined to use it again Monday morning.
That's great - I've seen a number of folks compare the Bunny to the R41 for shave closeness. The PAL IM is in that same league - looking forward to any comparisons you can make.
Nothing comes close to the R41 for closeness IMHO Karl but I can confidently say that this Pal is the closest shaving injector I have and it shaves closer than most DE's as well but does it comfortably. It's also very exacting. I highly recommend this injector for those dabbling, after just one use I'm sold. Thanks a million Karl.
SOTD May 8, 2016 Prep: Warm shower Blade: GEM Stainless Razor: GEM Featherweight Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic Lather: TSD Lanolin Bay Rum Post: Witch hazel splash, TSD Iced Bay Rum, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up Better shave than yesterday but still not overly comfortable. The Featherweight is a cool razor and has worked well for me in the past. I'm going to chunk that blade and try a new one next weekend. My focus right now is using a Schick G1 during the week and the GEM on the weekends. So I'll be back to the reliable G1 tomorrow. One pass with touch-ups and ready for the day. The TSD soap lathered up beautifully as always. The Iced Bay Rum at the end burned a good bit today, evidence of sub-par performance from me and the GEM. But it has cooled down nicely with the menthol. The Nivea balm always helps tie it all together in the end. Have a great Sunday!
Today's Shave: Sunday May 8, 2016 Improved Ever-Ready 1912 PAL Super blued carbon steel blade (1) Maggard 24mm synthetic brush LA Shaving Soap Blackfern soap Pinaud Lilac Vegetal aftershave Sometimes it's nice to revisit the classics, and re-discover why they became classics in the first place. You cannot get more classic than the 1912. American Safety Razor evidently agreed, re-introducing it in 1930 as the "Improved Ever-Ready Razor." The "NRA" on the box refers to the National Recovery Administration, one of FDR's New Deal programs introduced in 1933 and thrown out by the Supreme Court in 1935. In addition to being an interesting bit of trivia, this allows us to date the razor to that period. This particular specimen features chrome plating and shows almost no wear. Loaded with a PAL Super blued carbon steel blade it provided as fine a shave as I have experienced with anything in my collection, leaving me wondering why I even bother with all the other stuff. Which is not to say that I will not continue to do so. Happy Mother's Day! --Bob
Will be starting off the week with type F loaded with a "made in Holland" blade. I only have a three pack of these Dutch danglies.....
