Tabac Thursday Tabac week continues with another great shave. I inverted the soap jar while loading the brush and it did seem to speed up the process. I didn't use the bowl since I was in a bit of a hurry, but face lathering worked very well. Three easy passes set on five leaves me with comfortably smooth skin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Beat those drums and ring those bells - what a freeze this shave was and a delightful freeze at that. The Glacial Obsidian soap, balm, and Krampert's Frostbite aftershave left me almost numb as well as BBS!

Hello TSD - my maiden voyage with the PAL: - Barrister & Mann "Rhapsody" - Semogue OC badger - PAL Injecto-Matic - Personna Injector-blade - Tüff sensitiv Rasierwasser The SOC produced so much lather from the Rhapsody soap that I could have invited some neighbors over for a shaving party. So I performed a 3-pass shave today instead of the usual 2 passes, because I did not want to waste all the soap WTG the PAL is a very smooth performer, ATG I think it's a little more aggressive than the Schick G or the Bunny (the only other Injectors I have shaved with so far). So I think you have to be extra careful not to use too much pressure or to "overshave" certain areas of your face. Anyways - my face is BBS now and I just felt a tiny bit of burning sensation from the Aftershave Wonderful shave.

Wonderful smooth three pass shave today with the Pal. The Palmolive Cool Menthol is such a wonderful protective and creamy lather with a beautiful cool punch. Glacial Lemon Chill Balm added more freeze to finish this shave in style. Have a great shave and a great day friends.
SOTD May 12, 2016 Prep: Warm shower Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Schick G1 Injector Brush: Semogue 1520 boar Lather: VDH Luxury scented Post: Witch hazel splash, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up Day 3 with this combination and another good shave. The VDH soap works pretty well. It's not the best soap out there but for it's quite good for the price. The G1 glided right through the lather with no problems. This is shave 9 with the Chick blade. I noticed maybe a tiny difference today, but it is still sharp and comfortable. No nicks, weepers, or irritation. Pretty smooth shave for one pass with touch-up. Have a great day everyone!

Hot Water prep & massage with Argan Oil Eicker Solingen 7/16th Mason Pearson Pure Badger Valobra Tallow Soap Humphreys Witch Hazel I had a Lovely Shave this Morning with my Eicker Solingen 7/16..After My 1st SR Hone Job & Shave the other day I took it back to 3 Micron & 1 Micron Lapping Film for 50 Sets on each Film..The Blade was a lot Sharper Today & Very Smooth..This Razor has a Very Thin Edge & it offered me a lot more Audible Feedback this Morning..I am Dolphin Smooth & Refreshed.. Billy..
Thursday SOTD.......... RazoRock Napoleon's Violet face lathered w/Omega Pro (brush is oversized for face lathering but what the heck.........) '67 Slim (4) paired w/Astra SP blade (great combo for me) Osam Alum followed by Nivea Cooloing ASB finishing w/a splash of Floid Vigoroso 2-passes w/touch-up for a fantastic shave!!
