Thursday's Razor: Gillette Red Tip Brush: no name Chinese Badger brush Lather: TSD London Type Blade: GSB (1) Post: Witch Hazel, Clubman Original Excellent shave today! TSD soaps are such great performers. Slick and creamy lather every time effortlessly, the scent on this one is great too. The red tip always does what it is asked of and provided a very close and comfortable shave, BBS on the face and a solid DFS on the neck. It was nice to go back to one of my goto blades after trying out others. Have a great day folks!
COBRA/FEATHER Pro // PALADIN Sherlock // MIKE'S Rose and CedarwoodThe Cobra continues to give an excellent shave. It lacks the surgical precision of some stainless razors and the blade loading mechanism while interesting is not as elegant as the design of the razor. It's easy for the blade to misalign when closing the razor. I believe this is due to the less than precise machining and thick chrome plating. The good news is that when it's properly loaded the Cobra is fun to use and has given me some of my best shaves. It also looks awesome in the den and feels really good in hand. The Cobra's lofty reputation is deserved.
Thanks Lance! This Pal Injecto-Matic is my most efficient injector, while still being very smooth and comfortable. The sweetest thing for me is how incredibly maneuverable it is, perfect for jawline, chin, under-nose etc.. Please consider trying one buddy, it's a revelation.

Thank you and there is no fly-fishing going one. It was taken in one of the many parks we have in the city and you might be seeing some kind of branch/twig just in front of the woman.
Like it a lot. Wasn't sure if I would like a metal handle but fits nice in the hands and good weight but not too heavy. The Envy Whites are fantastic knots. Only the 3rd use so far so just a tad of scritch on the tips but excellent backbone. I bowl lather but a great knot for a face latherer. How do you like the Envy White knots?
Razor: Gillette Ball End Tech NDC (declared 1947) Birth Year Brush: Wolf Whiskers "Becky" handle 24mm x 51mm Shave Revolution Finest 2 band 2016 Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue Cream/Soap: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle Blade: Feather (2) Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1956 glass AS Stopper #3 The Gillette Tech is a great razor, and it is a nice mild razor for me even with a Feather blade. Nice lather from the Bourbon Jungle with the "Becky" to get off to a good start. Very nice two pass shave with some touchup, smooth. The Tech with this great lather will let me chase the baby, but I had to be careful not too go crazy, as I will pay with some burn. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some JB Balm. Then some Old Spice original Shulton 1956 AS. This Original Shulton has a great scent that is a little powdery, and the new stuff can't quit match it. very nice! Y'all have a good one!
THURSDAY Another shave with an old razor: this beautiful Otto Deutsch 'Hans' has been going strong for the past 65 to 85 years! Great shaver! I wonder how many razors being made today will still be giving as smooth and sweet a shave in 2090 as they perhaps do today? Superlative Route 66 Sweeney Todd lather and a Musgo Real No.3 'Spiced Citrus' finish. Have a great Thursday, all!
