Remember the creed: YMMV. I didn't decide this on the spur of the moment. I've been contemplating it for over a year. I've tried dozens of combos of hardware and software, my prep is meticulous, and my technique is fine. I'm getting the best shaves I've had in my life, thanks, in part, to what I've learned as part of this forum.

You may have already answered this, but I'm curious. I've thought before that if I had to give up all but one aspect of wetshaving, I'd never give up the brush and soaps. Are you keeping any aspect of the ritual? Just wondering

I'm keeping two of my brushes (Razo Rock and Plisson), all my opened soaps, creams, and sticks, and all things Tabac.

That makes me feel better
