Hi and Greetings from Germany. I'm a newbie here in this forum so I would like to introduce myself. But I'm not a newbie in traditional wet shaving. I'm using safety razor since Juli/August 2015. I'm a wet shaver since my first shaving. My way to the traditional way was to only look for a better Gillette/Wilkinson/Schick without cheap plastic, which I can use 10 years or more with payable blades and without the sorrow that the blades are no more produced. I also thought to buy a brush and cream like my father - The cans were too much waste for me. So my internet-search and some Youtube-videos so brought my to firm like Mühle, Merkur and some German wet-shaving-forums. A few weeks later and after tasting good-smelling soups and Aftershaves I began to love my new safety-razors. A Mach 3 is still lying in my bathroom, but haven't seen my face for months. Daniel
Hi! I loved Germany!! I was stationed at Rhein Main AB (shared the runway with Frankfurt International) from 1983-1986. Would love to go back, especially to visit Rothenburg ob der Tauber again.
Daniel, Welcome to TSD. Always happy to greet another convert to "proper" shaving. You're lucky in having so many German manufacturers continuing to produce fine razors, the UK-based razor market's a bit thin. Regards, Chris
