Going to use it until it is gone... The Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #30RS silvertip badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Krona razor with a Personna Blue Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Speick After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
There's a soap you don't see in the SOTD thread very often. Did PC go out of business? I remember hearing great things about their soap.
I honestly don't know if she is still open for business as I've had this soap and two other DdC for 2.5 years and I think they are awesome soaps and I should use them more. SHAVE OF THE DAY Prep: gustafsons woodlands Razor: Gillette Redtip Blade: Astra SP (3rd shave) Brush: Fine Angel Hair Synthetc Soap: RazoRock Tobacco #2 Post: Denim aftershave/ DIY Balm 2 pass shave this morning. The scent of tobacco #2 is more smoky, where Tobacco 1 is more powdery Oakmoss type of scent. Have to say I think I prefer 2. Whipped up a nice lather with the Fine Brush. The Astra Blade has worked out well, not the smoothest blade, but not as bad as I first thought. Ended up getting a good shave, very close and minimal irritation. Finished off with Denim aftershave, it has a stronG scent when first applied and reminds me of a cologne. Hope everyone had a great shave !

MAYhem 2016!! May 30 Razor - Gillette NEW Long Comb Blade - Brush - BoS Omega 10066 Soap - Tabac Post - Cold Water, Alum, Nivea, The Veg Well, I'm glad that day is over. Four days of non-stop sales and I have one day off to finish tomorrow with a special MAYhem shave. For today, two passes on the Gillette 7 o'clock wit New LC and a fantastic near BBS with no irritation and the Veg to draw those customers right in the door. June is also just a day away now so the new thread will be up and running in just a bit to get the discussion started. In the meantime keep posting here and let's finish with all the MAYhem we can muster! Not giving anything away about tomorrow's shave other than it involves more than one razor but only one soap and brush. 'Nuff said!
