It's a 5th grade math problem. This is not a trick question. This is a real math problem so don't say that a bus has no legs. There is no bus driver. There are 7 girls in a bus. Each girl has 7 backpacks. In each backpack, there are 7 big cats. For every big cat there are 7 little cats. Question: How many legs are there in the bus? I will tell you the Answer tomorrow, this problem took me 15 min to figure out so that makes me almost as smart as a 5th grader. :happy102
Tune in tomorrow (today in the EDT and CDT zones in US) for the exciting conclusion!!!! Don't miss it!! Y'all did remember to account for two legs for the girls and four legs for the cats, right? Just checking... :happy097
The answer is 10990. The point was some people as they grow older they seem to over think simple problems. Ya'll done good, now I am going to hang my head in shame. :happy102
I'm going to say that no fifth grader I know except maybe one from the Chinese family I know would know the answer to that.
I had an oral quiz in number theory that was supposed to consist of only one question. The question I got was: "Can you prove the <IForgetWhatItWas> Theorem?" I thought for a moment, smilled, and said "Yes!" After a few seconds of staring at each other, the professor rolled his eyes and said "Ok, Griffin, prove it." Fortunately, I really could.
