Very close comfortable, but careful shave tonight with this aggressive razor. One little weeper on my neck which is unusual for me. I didn't find the Captain's Choice Sandalwood as slick as some other soaps.
Still riding that Wedge train. Same set up as a couple of days ago. Same result - really close and smooth finish although I did manage to produce a nick today. Maybe because I refreshed the blade? More likely as I was experimenting more with the angle. I find I tend to keep the angle too close and I get a smoother stroke when I increase the angle a bit. I also kept the Sterling Soap Glacial Lemon Chill. Maybe it'll grow on me. I liked it a bit more today than last time. Wednesday's Dove Men Face Wash TOBS Lavender Jayaruh #30RS Silver Tip Schick Krona Personna Blue Super Stainless CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Rose Petal WH Speick After Shave This will be the 133rd documented shave with the TOBS Lavender. Going to use it until it is gone... The Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #30RS silvertip badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick Krona razor with a Personna Blue Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Speick After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

TSD Subzero I sent RiseIntl an e-mail asking for a commentary on the new Super Foam(blue lettering for SUPER FOAM and 8.7 oz instead of the 13 oz I use now). I'll be interested in their reply.

The combination of Stirling soap and a very nice synthetic brush provided plenty of lather for three passes. A fresh blade in a superior razor gave near flawless WTG, ATG, & XTG reduction. I did find a couple painless weepers that I attribute to a fresh blade and being over confidant using the WILD comb. After a cool water rinse & alum block swipe they disappeared. A handful of Canoe for that Barbershop fresh scent didn't leave any sting. Thanks Ya'll!
SHAVE OF THE DAY Prep: Occams crushed lime Razor: Gillette Old Type Blade: GSB (3rd shave) Brush: omega s synthetic Soap: Pheonix & Beau- Citra Royale Post: T&H West Indian Limes Balm 2 pass shave today, went with the lime theme since it is nice and warm here in Detroit. The P&B soap whips up a lather that reminds me a bit of Mystic Water, in a good way. Thick tallow lather, and a nice mix of lime and cedarwood. Very pleased with this soap so far. The Old Type chopped thru all stubble for a BBS shave, nice and smooth with no irritation. What more could you ask for. Hope everyone had a great shave as well!
