Saturday Third shave with the 6S. This and yesterdays was with base-plate #2. I'm not sure what to make of it. I think I perhaps prefer a more "aggressive" plate, so maybe I'll revert back to #3 or #4 on a daily basis. Today’s shave was less than 24 hours since last, I think 16-18 hours and I could tell. I simply get better shaves when there's 24 hours or more, best 48+. However, the Rockwell did marvellous despite the conditions. It's already 20 degrees here this morning so the menthol was a nice awakening. Nice DFS/BBS shave with good looking skin and zero irritation.

Saturday's Dove Men Face Wash TOBS Lavender Jayaruh #70 Silvertip Bunny V-3 Schick Injector CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Rose Petal WH Aqua Velva Ice Blue This is the 136th documented shave with the TOBS Lavender. Going to use it until it is gone... The Taylor of Old Bond Street Lavender Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #70 silvertip badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Bunny V-3 razor with a Schick Stainless Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
06/04/2016 Gillette Super Speed (J4) Feather (2) DK7 with Druida Manchurian Mystic Water Lime Witch Hazel Fine L’Orange Whipped Shea Butter I decided to pull out my Birth Quarter SS for the weekend since I haven't used it since last December. The DK7 whipped up the MW Lime into a nice slick lather. I enjoy the pure lime scent of the soap. A traditional 3 pass shave followed by touch ups ended in a near BBS. Finished up with a splash of Fine L'Orange followed by citrus/lavender whipped shear butter. Overall a very good shave. I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.
