That's very subjective. Some people get more mileage out of a blade than others. When the blade starts feeling tuggy and rough it's time to change.
I will change a blade when it seems like I'm having to "work" more to get a clean shave. This means I feel like I'm doing the shave, but nothing seems to be happening so I do more strokes.
@Sassybee I am tall, but not as tall as you are. (About 5'8") I found that, no matter what brand of blade I used, 2 full shaves -underarms, thighs & calves- was my limit.
as mentioned, since you are shaving a larger area the blade milage would be less, but everyone is different. If the blade is tugging, replace it, not worth tearing your skin up.
It sounds like a philosophical question to me. I'm sorry I don't know the answer. I do know this one, however. How far can a bear walk int the woods? Half way. After that he's walking out.
My wife shaves her legs every 3 to 4 days, and has me change her blade about every 2 to 3 weeks. I guess that equals 6 to 8 shaves. She's only 5'3" if it matters.
It probably does. But even allowing for that, I am surprised at thee number of shaves she is getting. She may have finer hair than I do. This too can affect the wear on a blade.
Very true. I still can not get her to try a puck of soap and a brush. I bring it up every once in a while. She did get an itchy reaction to some canned goo this week. I showed her that Stirling has peach and strawberry, still a no go. I might get her some and a Stirling Kong for Christmas.
I change the blade after 3 shaves no matter what shaving cream I use. I use astra sp blades and at 10 cents a blade you don't really have to worry about running your budget high. Sent from my SM-G928V using Tapatalk
