Or in the event of bad QC, you might offer the quantum superposition solution known as "Schrodinger's Bevel", where the edge is simultaneously dull and sharp in any given instant.
Jolly June!!! Focus planned Day 4 - Ralf Aust 5/8 Going for two pass BBS with low angles later. Yesterday was such a close shave, I may even shoot for the grail today. First day above 90F, almost had a heat stroke mowing the fields. Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado. Have a great evening!
Jolly Good June! June 9 Razor - Feather SS Blade - (3) Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat Brush - BoS Omega 10066 Post - Cold rinse, Alum, The Veg Another fine shave this morning and I think I've got the angle figured out. There definitely is a bit of a difference with the different design of the head between the SS and Greager. Is one superior to the other? I wouldn't say that, at least yet. My mind tells me that it is intuitively easier to set and hold angle with the Greager, but that may be a false idea. It's kind of like any razor. If you use it long enough you eventually just set it right and go without an issue. Does one shave better than the other? I don't think so necessarily either. It's the blade doing the cutting. How well you can control any straight razor, AC or Traditional, is really ultimately up to your hand/eye/brain coordination. The Fat was great again today. Wonderful rich lather with nice slickness cushion. @mrchick I'm really thinking it's a matter of water ratio that does it, and I'd love to give you an exact method to get it right. I do face lather, which may help, as I can add water to the brush as I lather and see the result on my face instantly. As for the thin looking lather you got I'm thinking too much water. I will say that with the Fat the optimum ratio seems to be a very small area. Alum was pretty quiet today and I got a DFS with two passes and a couple of touchups. The Veg added its usual sales appeal as I only had one customer today, but their purchase was 609% to daily budget! That's what I call a SALE!!! Here's to the early start of the weekend tomorrow. I'm ready for a few big days at work.....you're probably ready for a few days AWAY from work.
Yeah two months is a fairly short time to be getting it down so well. Clearly you've worked at it the right way.
But never sharp enough in any given instant to kill that stupid cat that may or may not be there in the same instant.
Kai captain. I am shaving my face and head each day and this blade is refusing to call it quits so far.
Well we are a bunch of philosophers at heart. We shave, therefore we are! Oh wait, sorry, didn't mean to throw Descarte in there with Schrodinger. Might cause a philosophical cat fight. Or not.
