I like the way the blade is supported all the way to the edge of the cap. I feel it's important and really makes a difference on how razor performs having the blade locked down. What are the plans for the handle? Decent of them to be forthcoming about the refund. Shows class. Great work on your review. I'll probably have to get one down the road.
I don't know anything about how/when the handle will be redesigned. They are looking at longer/wider and a change to the overall knurling/appearance.
can you please post a pic of the underside of the top cap, I don't think I have seen one NVM saw it lol
Start finding razors, introducing them to the forum communities, spend lots of money, review vintage and modern razors thoroughly and accurately, and take fantastic pictures. People will start sending you free stuff too.
Easy enough... But I'm the type of person that would actually give back to the community and start passarounds with these "free" items. But that's just me...
I know you are just messing around, but I feel like someone could read this post and come away from it thinking you were actually bitter and wanted to belittle Darkbulbs efforts while telling him what to do with his personal stuff... Just sayin'
Great review and gorgeous photos. The head design reminds me of the Punktal and the Shavecraft 101 (also the Progress). If the Shavecraft 101 mated with a Grand Shave King, it's offspring would be the Timeless OC razor. I think the way the combs bend UPWARD is a huge plus. As you mentioned, some OCs have too much tooth feel on the face (I'm looking at you, iKon Deluxe OC). The Timeless SB razor looks interesting, too. Like the SB side of the Shavecraft 101 (the better side, IMO) or a non-adjustable Progress. I hope somebody will give that one a try and post a review here, as well, because I am interested in hearing how it shaves. Hoping, also (finally), that Timeless will at some point offer heads only, so I can use it on my UFO handles. Thanks, again, for the thorough review and especially for the amazing photos.
As someone who has done pass-arounds, and watched people who swore up and down that they would leave a review fail to do so, watched the razors I so carefully packed get shipped to people without any padding at all, and found my razors were being broken and damaged because of these people. I don't do pass-arounds anymore either.
Another new entry into a crowded field. It will be interesting to see how things look a year from now.
Thanks. The comb angles up differently but it's probably the closest I've seen so far. Now I want one of those
