Lord Smart razor US Personna blade Dr. Selby 3X SC Vie-Long Silver Tip brush Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe M&L Florida Water Cologne w/added menthol Another mighty fine shave and I'm ready to go. This razor/blade combo is superb. Now go enjoy your day folks.
If you love menthol soaps and balms as well as aftershaves then you can help but win if you use the Glacial Spearmint soap. It smells amazing, it gives a ton of some of the richest, slickest lather, and it freezes like there's no tomorrow. Its matching balm feels just as cold with perfect soothing, moisturizing skincare. A slap or two of the Snake Bite aftershave splash is such a great way to finish off. That's the setup I used this morning and it resulted in a wonderful, frigid BBS shave!

June 14/2016 Razor: Schick G4 (1( Lather: Cremo Origial Brush: VDH Badger Pre Shave Oil:Hoemade AS: Gillette Gel/Brut Splash On Newspaper Date: Feb 3,1944 Finally got a decent shave and my face feels so much better. After a decent lathering of Cremo, I began the 1st pass, ATG and my face being in such shape, I had to go slowly and very softly, everything went pretty well, smooth but lightly. The 2nd pass, WTG/XTG went so much better and a lot smoother. The G4 is an outstanding razor, but I still had to move with care. I expect tomorrow and after should put me back on track. Wish me luck and hope a good shave was had by all, with regard. Bill
Razor: Gillette 85 Super Adjustable "Black Beauty” (p2) 1970 named “The Black Pearl” (5) (3) Brush: Vintage Ever-Ready 675 badger Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue Cream: Jack Black cream Blade: Feather (2) Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1974-1976 Scrimshaw Whale Tooth "Full and Bye" "The Black Pearl" is out for a sail today, with a salty crew. The Badger whipped the Jack Black into a frothy lather. The Pearl is set on 5 for the first salvo against the whiskers that have invaded my face. Smooth sailing and steady as she goes with a little touchup on the right side of my neck on 3. The weight of the head on the Pearl does all the work, as it sails through the rough sea. A splash of Witch Juice, some Jack Black Balm, Jaaack......, and then some vintage Old Spice for the wenches. Based on what I've read, "full and bye" is an old nautical expression meaning that a ship is both sailing close to the wind and has full sails. Off to some uncharted waters to plunder, and pillage. Have a good one you salty dog. Arrrrrh!
14jun16 I've been itching to use this SR. So simple it's beautiful, IMO. And very sharp! Got a weeper. But finished with some Old Spice and everything is right in the world now.
