Two Scotch and Stowe razors bought for their handles.

 

I actually have the Precision coming my way as well. What head do you plan on adding it to?

 

I plan on switching up with my Ikon Tech. I also plan on giving the R11 another try with a different handle. What are your plans?

 

Sweet! I'm just gonna stick it on a Gillette Tech. I felt like it needed some extra weight to it. That and putting a different handle on one justifies having 2 of them lol.

From what I see, it doesn't seem like the Scotch and Stowe head is any good. A lot of people just buy it for the handle like we did.

Let me know how you like the Fatty. I had my eye on that one as well.

 

I started looking at the Scotch and Stowe handles, and ended up finding one by Techichi Shave Company called a Claymore. Brushed Stainless, no knurling, no logo. I need a handle for the brushed Mongoose head I just got, so it should be perfect. Under $20 shipped.

 

I don't know if it's a point of the head being any good, I think it's more of the head being a DE89 clone, which I among others have graduated from to more aggressive razors. And the Fatty was a last minute impulse, 10% off for buying two, I'll let you know when I get to it.

 

I'm waiting for these to arrive.

 

That Aristocrat is one fine shaver and yours looks to be in great shape. It's one of my favorites.

Good choice. I love the knurling on the handle and the weight of the razor. Shaves are close, smooth and efficient. It's a beautiful razor and I've never gotten a bad shave from it yet!

 

I already have an Aristrocrat... Lol the only keeper for me is the English Aristrocrat.. The rest I'm selling. My wife pretty much said if I buy anymore I have to sell some. So I've sold some of mine then bought more... Sold some more and the cycle continues. There a few razors on my short list that I want, but they are pricy. So with every sale I'm getting closer. It's a lot of work .. But I want a toggle, an executive set. Soo the buying and selling continues.

 

I agree I get a great shave from an Aristrocrat.

 

If you get the chance. Try a Stahly head on a heavy handle. Definitely a keeper. Also as I've said many times, if i had tried a progress first, i wouldn't have a collection.

 

What are your plans for that Gem?
