Considering that we've had no power since yesterday at 5pm and that I shaved with my Maglite as my illumination, it was good. I started fully tightened down. Zero if you will. I could still feel steel. 2nd pass I adjusted to 2 and 3 for my final pass. The Progress on 3 reminded me of my Red Tip. I will definitely see how aggressive it'll go in the next few days. But before that happens, I am going to need better lighting.

My son sent me an RTIC tumbler for Fathers Day, so it took away the inconvenience excuse for an ice water shave. So, last night, I filled the tumbler with ice and set it by the sink for this morning's shave. The TOBS Grapefruit Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #61 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick M Adjustable razor with a Schick Stainless Twin Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After an ice water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Very nice setup and picture! That Old Spice Cologne looks like a 1967, with "Old Spice" below the ship, and no volume indicated on the front. The good stuff!

SOTN: Vintage IXL frame back courtesy of Geo Wostenholm & Son. The original black horn scales were splitting at both ends so I replaced them with new ones of honey horn/ macassar ebony wedge. MWF lather & Stirling 'Sharp Dressed Man' balm to finish. Great old shaver that still delivers the goods!

No pic due to vacation. Repeat shave from yesterday. The GEM MMOC is an efficient razor. You have to go easy with that one. One pass with minor touch-up is just fine for a road shave.

Proraso White did a magnificent job yet again. All in all a nice shave!

I had a wonderful shave this morning. I put a new blade in the Schick and this one is smooth as silk. The last one just wasn't up to par. However, we will not dwell on the past, but boldly face the future...just like Superboy! TGIF...
