The Word Wizard is at his best today. Have a great weekend David, with lots of..."legitima and love".
Razor: Gillette 195 Fat Boy (f1) 1960 (5) (3) Brush: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue Boar Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue Cream/soap: Seifenglatt Shave Soap Barber Shop Blade: Feather (1) Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1983 Porcelain Sail Boat I don't use the boar brush very often, but it is an Old Spice, and I use everything I have. So I whipped up the Barber Shop, nice scent, in my favorite Old Spice mug. The brush has lots of backbone and is not as easy to paint my face as my badgers. WTG XTG on my face an neck on 5 ATG on my neck on 3. Quick close shave today an out the door after a splash of vintage Old Spice from 1983. Have a good one y'all.
Friday Pre Shave Oil - The Blades Grim Smolder Soap - Col. Conk Almond Brush - Badger Blade - ASCO Razor - Van Der Hagen Alum Aftershave - Gillette Fusion Proseries (feel the burn) 2nd pass with this blade. better than the first asco blade.
Just the kind of shave which I LOVE - smooth as a little baby's keester and so easily. The Glacial Obsidian soap lathered like a maniac after 25 seconds of loading with my Plissoft synthetic brush and almost instantly the freeze began. By the time I was half way through my first pass my face felt like there was liquid nitrogen on it. The second pass felt almost painfully cold and the matching balm, together with the Snake Bite aftershave splash put two more coatings of intense frigidness in my skin!

For Flint Friday! Pre-shave showdown part two I got the lawn mowed and played in the water with Atticus before it gets too hot today. I used Jack Black Nourishing Oil on the left and Proraso White on the right this time. Again, the JB side felt smoother and softer after every pass. The difference is less pronounced after the AS has dried down. For me, it seems PSO does make a small difference. I think my bad experiences might have been due to using too much oil, or not waiting long enough for it to do its job. YMMV For Flint is such a great scent citrus and grassy, maybe vetiver - I'm not great at picking out notes. The lather was optimal once I got the water right, and the Lather Monster made enough to allow the Futur to give me BBS in three easy passes on 5-5-6. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
