You are correct that is the first Old Spice mug. Mug 01 is the only Hull Pottery mug with "Ship Grand Turk" on it, from 1938-41. The Mug 02 with the "Ship Friendship" on it, from 1941-44. I also have a Mug 01, and they are not easy to find. Old Spice is nice!
I don't remember where I saw it, on the net somewhere, but he had one in an original box, and a 3 foot version, from a display. He had rooms stacked with Old Spice. Just found it. He's on B&B here is a pic. You may want to sit down first.
Jolly Good June! June 17 Razor - Gold Dollar 800 Soap - Proraso Green Brush - Wolf Whiskers Custom Silvertip Post - Cold rinse, Alum, Nivea, The Veg Another day with the GD800 and I'm liking it more every day. That's probably because, well you know, learning technique and all that. No issues this morning. I still find it a bit awkward to switch to the left on XTG, but that will come with repetition. Stropping is probably my main challenge. I have to concentrate on that to avoid rolling the edge but it's speeding up. Again, practice, practice, practice. My problem is I get bored and start looking at other razors. You know, that whole SQUIRREL problem. Hope you had a great Friday and have some fun this weekend!
SOTN: To wrap-up to a hectic week at work—nothing like close to 1000 screaming, energetic kids for five days to make one appreciate the calm of a tranquil evening shave! Custom Joseph Rodgers 6/8", Valobra menthol soap and Fine 'Snake Bite' finish. Superb!
Well its not how fast you strop, its how fast you strop well. But really, i strive for smooth not fast.
Thank you, my friend and it was a spectacular day! Just superb; 16 degrees Celsius, dry and sunny! Thank you and it photographs, very well.

Usually not a big floral fan, but this is one that stands out, very well made scent. Whipped up a nice lather with the Semogue with no problems. The VS Blade worked out well with this razor, and ended up with a smooth shave. Hope everyone else also has a great shave!

06/18/2016 Mongoose B2 with Triad Ti Feather Pro Super (4) Tres Amigos Ironwood Beehive with Envy White Mystic Water Lime Witch Hazel Folsom & Co. Shambala Whipped Shea Butter The Mystic Water Lime soap provided a nice slick lather. Since this tub is just about finished I will use it more often over the next couple of weeks to just finish it up. Sticking with my normal 2 pass shave, XTG & ATG, followed by minimal touch up ended in my normal near BBS shave. I finished up with a splash of F&C Shambala. A great shave to start the weekend. I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.
SOTD June 18, 2016 Pre: MWF bloom water Razor: Bluebeards Revenge Shavette / GSB ; Merkur 23c / GSB Brush: Simpsons Special Soap: MWF Post: Jack Black Post shave Cooling Gel As I prepare to begin my SR journey (still waiting for a couple of items before I can begin honing). I decided to break out my Bluebeards Revenge shavette. I am just doing both cheeks for starters...and then finish up with a DE. I used a shavette fairly regularly a number of months ago...but I was going through a DE acquisition phase...hmmmm...enough said. Anyway...shave went well this morning. I used a GSB blade in the BB Revenge and corked it a couple of times to smooth the blade. Nice and smooth. Enjoy your Saturday.
