  12. First shave with the Type A and I got a very nice shave. A couple of weepers on the neck, where I did a third pass, but a very nice shave over all.

  13. Today I gave my Schick Simplified Automatic C3 Repeater a rematch with my H type in a shave-off...Last time it jammed while loading the blade and was disqualified....

Long story short.....I don't own a razor that shaves better than my C3....

  14. Count me in as a member. I have a B1 and a C1, soon to be getting a B2. I tried the B1 yesterday and the shave felt rough despite using a Chick blade. The blade seems to hold tight. Anyone have smooth shaves with the B1? I am used to injectors and get great shaves with my E1 and G1. Is the angle for the B1 similar to the E and G models? I tried the C1 and got a decent shave, but if anything it felt too mild compared to my E and G. Is that experience unusual? Thanks!

  17. Welcome #28 @kenloupa !
Great looking razors BTW! The angle your looking for is nothing like a standard injector. You want to start with the handle 90 degrees from your face then tilt it down until you feel it cutting. I'd say about 3:30 4:00 o'clock. Too much and it won't cut and the same in reverse. I find a two finger grip with your thumb works the best for me. Once you get it your gonna love it. Oh and don't bother using the old blades, hand load a modern blade and enjoy!

  18. Thanks Redfisher! I will try that. I saw an old ad for these razors and they say to shave flat to the face--I assume handle at 90 degrees. You are saying about 20-30 degrees angle of blade to skin?

  19. I shaved with my newly acquired B2 this morning and had a great shave, although I definitely see it is more aggressive than the C1. No weepers. I didn't find the angle that different from my other injectors so far.
