Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna Med Prep still in the NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Ghost Town Barber. Bob
I had a wonderful face-freezing shave with my Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap which never ceases to amaze me with its ease of lathering and super-powerful menthol effect. I enjoyed the gorgeous Sharp Dressed Man scent so much with the gentle, soothing post-shave care which left my skin feeling not only frozen, but also well-moisturized and well-protected against dryness and irritation. The Diana balm is so cold that it gives a feeling of an air conditioner blowing frigid air on your face and I don't think the Arctique aftershave needs any more description - it is COLD. Next week I'll go back to my Super Speed so my cheap Junjie razor could have a rest!

Baili TTO razor Astra SP blade Plisson/L'Occitane brush CO Bigelow SC Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Skin Bracer w/added menthol Got the Baili for Father's Day and had to use it today. Lovely razor that looks to have decent quality. Everything works like it's supposed to and the plating looks fine too. Shaves like a Super Speed and that's a good thing to me. Got a fine shave and I"m ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks.
I just had one of the best shaves of my life. I paired a NOS Dutch Schick blade with my Schick type D. I have not been overly impressed with the D in the past. It's a really good razor but I had never gotten the shave others have reported. All that changed today. Wow. This was one super, super smooth shave and super, super efficient. I easily could have stopped after one pass, and was at a more than solid DFS after the second. The third was dolphin smooth with minimal touch ups needed. Well, they weren't really needed but I went after them anyhow. This blade is deceptively sharp and no "help" from extra pressure is needed. Paying attention to that allows it to do what it does best - cut whiskers and not skin. June 20/2016 Razor: Unknown Brand Blade: Super Maxx (1) Lather: Cremo Pre Shave: Homemade Brush: VDH Badger A/S: Gillette Gel/Brut Slash On Bowl: Walmart Large Soup Bowl I think I just about solved my med problem by holding a full cup of water until I don`t spill any, Voila!, I hope, anyway it worked this morn, resulting in a really good shave. The 1st pass, WTG, with a couple X strokes under my jaw line. Everything was smooth and easy, I was amazed, kinda like yester year. The 2nd pass, ATG/XTG/WTG, was almost as smooth, there are so many places that I just can`t get to with ATG, I have to employ other strokes to come to a satisfactory result, in this case a DFS+. It is what it is! Good luck to the rest of you. Bill
