Exceptional shave this morning with the Pal, easy breezy three passes for a dolphin smooth end result. Clean and refreshed. The TOBS Grapefruit smells wonderful and is a good performing SS, providing good skin care throughout and after. Have a great day folks.
Leave it to Rod to come out with some of the best soaps. His Black Ice has such a nice black liquorice scent with wonderful lather and did it ever give me great performance, along with a strong menthol effect. The Black Powder aftershave from F&C completed the job and left me smelling very nice. A terrific shave overall!

Third Straight Day I used the 6/8 Gold Dollar again today. I am still learning the correct angle - I got some burn and weepers from two passes and still had lots of stubble to clean up with the Futur. 42 provided excellent lather and scent. I think I'll take a break from straights tomorrow to heal up a bit. I really noticed the alcohol in the aftershave today, too. The balm felt good.
