Today I took out the Charles Adam "faultless" and got a DFS in 2 passes. I picked up some Stirling glacial lemon chill at Pasteur's pharmacy on Saturday. It was the perfect way to start this rather warm July 4th. Today marks a first for me. This is the 4th straight day of SR shaves for me! I could get used to this!
it shaves very good.it still has the factory edge.was thinking to hone it,but after stropping and test shave there was no need to.was close and comfortable.
I used my T.T.C. Premier again today - the same one that I slashed myself with Saturday. Very nice shave using a new (to me) technique for XTG - pull the right ear with the right hand and shave with the left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Starlet 372 I keep forgetting how wonderful a shave this hefty Japanese blade gives. It is a near wedge. It doesn't look like much, but I almost stopped the shave after one pass, since it looked already seemed like a DFS.
It was an challange using just one hand, but guess i get used to it.the honing on this was not as good as expected.bearly sharp from mid to toe and dull mid to heel.so would have to figure out hove to hone this.the seller claimd it was honed by a japanese spesialis, but maby he had to much sake for breakfast before he honed it
