Anyone recall self-warming foam?

Was available up thru the early '90s, I think. Orange-red can iirc. Just remembered it the other day, anyone recall the stuff?

 

I remember buying my dad a Schick hot lather machine for Christmas in the '70s.

 

And I recall this scene from Frasier:

 

I had a heat unit...this was just a self heating can, no unit to screw it into.

Hmmmmmmm, my Dad used that stuff for a while. I remember he bought it in Florida. He wanted me to try it but I wasn't one bit interested!

 

I remember it, but never tried it. These days, it's all cold water, so little point for me.

I have a picture of me holding a can of it that was taken in late 1985 when I started shaving everyday thanks to AR 670-1. I remember buying it and I remember not liking it. Looking back, I can only imagine the chemically infused ingredients list...

My sisters and I were going to buy one for my father years back for either Christmas or Fathers Day. We never bought it. I do remember the ads on TV for them.

A remember a can with a coiled spring that you ran under hot water, so when you pressed the button you would get warm foam.

 

I remember the one that had a chemical reaction to heat up. I refused to use it. Then there was one that had a coil that you heated with hot water. I never used that either. I guess I have never used hot lather except at the barber. That was pretty cool though. No, wait a minute. It was hot.
