Me too! I'm going to give a try tomorrow. The package says it was made in Peru? Interesting for sure!
http://www.lanman-and-kemp.com/cat1/product_info.php?cPath=8&products_id=13 I'm interested too. Didn't realize this soap was available till now. eBay sellers offer it too. @Redfisher can you post a picture of the ingredients for us here? Thanks
3 brushes from my father in law. I bought a Giesen & Forsthoff, Adoration de Luxe. And a brand new in the box Valet Autostrop v.3. Sadly, the directions are stuck to the bottom of the box after sitting for 80+ years...
could this help you out by copying this page............. http://theoriginalsafetytoo.com/thread/86/valet-autostrop-vc1-instructions
Florida Water bar soap is readily available at ShoeboxShaveShop along with most of the Murray & Lanman products. Great vendor and great service.
Cool link and video. Thanks. The directions are in great condition, it just that the one panel is stuck to the bottom of the box and will tear completely if I try to pull it off.
Me too! Love the clear green. Yes it's synthetic. I'm going to use it tomorrow but I have never had good luck with the vintage synthetic/nylon brushes. It will get re-knotted with a modern synthetic if need be.
Received this Durham as a PIF from @Billdog. The top cap fits my aluminum handle Durham He gave me one carpet blade to try as well. I have a complete Durham Duplex straight that has a stopping attachment. I have a couple of OEM blades, and am going to practice strop these before I try it. Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk

I've always like barometers. The glass one is the kind you can pick up lots of places for under $20 and it works fine as general indicator. We've had it hanging on the wall for years. These two I acquired last week. The desk model is gorgeous, far nicer than the pic indicates, mounted on a block of mahogany. The banjo will look nice hanging in our new house in a few weeks. I may refinish the wood since the varnish is peeling. I really like the trend labels on the dial; close up from a later stand-alone model I almost bid on: Then there's my app.
