Well, I make light of many situations, I enjoy a good laugh. And, as many friends and family have told me "you aint right". One of my nick names is Moe, so, Moe from the three stooges seemslike a good fit.
My new avatar's the cover art from King Crimson's Lark's Tongue in Aspic. It's an excellent album if you enjoy 70s progressive rock.
my new avatar is a cut and paste photochop of a Wade & Butcher Special Razor coffin. I liked the font, esp. of the word Razor...
My avatar is from the second Futurama movie. It's Fry using a DE in 3008 to prepare for a date. I think a few seconds later you can see another character shaving with a DE, but I can't for the life of me remember who it was. (Zap Brannigan is shown shaving his legs with a ladies electric razor though!) Also, to NoobShaver... King Crimson rocks! I saw them open for Tool around 2001 (Tool's Lateralus pre-tour, KC's current album at the time was ConstuKction of Light.)
This shark avatar is a birthday cake my son enjoyed a few months ago. It was even filled with guts (by my son's request!) [/QUOTE]
Cool thread that had its last post (until now) before I got here. Nice of you to resurrect it, hoglahoo. Cool cake, by the way. Mine is courtesy of Dridecker. He added the handlebar 'stache to cover the scent name of our first TSD SOTQ A1 - Crackling Firewood - in order to keep it secret for a while. As I sport a handlebar myself, I immediately liked it and asked him if he could shrink it to avatar size for me. Thanks again, Bill !
Great cake hoglahoo...But, having it on blood...red velvet cake is that touch that young boys live for.
I don't put one up because the avatar I use for other fora is too large to use here. I actually can't figure out why there is a file size limit on remotely hosted avatars. I'm using my own webspace to host it, so shouldn't that requirement be dropped?
An old thread indeed, but still interesting. My Avatar is just one of Apple's standard iChat icons. I thought it looked like someone with serious razor burn, which fortunately is not one of my problems.
I'm currently sporting a teal ribbon for Emily, the little girl in the link in my sig. Her favorite color is teal, and our whole town is covered in teal ribbons for her.
My Avitar is me skiing last summer in Eagle River Wisconsin. It seemed like a nice summer memory. As I'm nursing some broken ribs now it hurts to look at, I'll probably change it soon.
My avatar is Tin-Tin. Which is one of the French comics that I grew up with an learned to read on. I also hope to have as many adventures in my life as he has in the books
When I jointed TSD, I went trolling for avatars of stingrays to go with the screen name. I ran across the fist face and used it until today, when I read this thread and went looking again and found the stingray avatar that I am using now.
the current one (at the time of this post) is Buddy Ebsen in Uncle Jed attire shaving with an injector. its a snap shot from the book on The Beverly Hillbillies.
