I haven't use the 74's in many moons....But if I remember right....I think a week, week and a half was about it for GREAT shaves...They would last longer if you were trying to make a point or be cheap...But I never mind changing blades...Getting the best shaves has always been too important to me to just try and see how many more shaves I could get after the peak shaves were over.... But I was impressed with the quality of the 'peak' shaves...and at the time, I was shocked to be getting such great shaves from a Personna blade....ha,ha...Which made them even seem greater...ha,ha!
I whole-heartedly concur....The Schick H1 type is definitely in a class with the PAL Injecto-Mate....and thats saying something...Personally I think my Hussy leaves Joan Crawford in her dust...I would never look forward to getting a little trim from Joan Crawford first thing in the morning...
Sun. 7/10/16 Marvelous shave this morning with the Schick N1 loaded with a twin blade. The twin blade transforms this razor into an efficient whisker whacking tool. This JabonMan shave soap is called Lima-Incensio which translates to Lime-Incense. It smells lovely and packs a great menthol kick which is not lost on me. Three passes for a dolphin smooth and refreshing finish. Have a great day guys. :smile :

July 10 SOTD Schick Injector Canadian Ivory E /Chick (5) Kiss my Face Lavender & Shea Semogue 1520 Premium Boar Gentlemen's Pride ASB Stetson Cologne - Fresh I had forgotten how good KMF cream is. Pleasant aroma, great face feel and excellent cushion and slickness. The aggressive E4 was turned into a mild tech like instrument with this cream and the splash of Stetson left no burn at all, but I am Dolphin smooth. Have a blessed day gentlemen. SOTD July 10, 2016 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Bunny V3 Injector Brush: Omega 10049 boar Lather: TSD Tabac-type Post: Witch hazel splash, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up Decent shave today - not my best. The lather wasn't as slick and protective as the past couple of days. For me, the Bunny razor has worked best with slick and hydrated lather. I didn't get it to the right point today. A couple of tiny nicks on my neck where I had angle struggles again. The angle for my upper face is much improved but I'm still experiencing problems on my neck. More time with the Bunny would certainly avail itself to better and better shaves. Hope you all have a great day!

It may look like an L type (not a fan) but shaves much closer. A fantastic shave when paired with a twin injector blade but still a VG shave when used with a single blade. Got this one on a trade @twhite.
