Voss Cutlery Co. Germany, open comb. 3-piece, heavy handle, has a crack on the neck but doesn't affect tightening and one outside comb tooth is bent in. I'm hoping I can straighten it. Also a Z4 Black Beauty and a D2 TV special. Old personna box is empty but will look good on the shelf, and the bottle was cheap and had a cap for a change.
A very awesome birthday gift haul from the wife (arriving just 2 days after my dad of birth) Some SDM soap, the Stirling Finest Badger brush, and the Razorock Bruce synthetic brush. I am a very happy camper today.
Got some old Christy blades today, didn't cost much, one of these days I'm going to try a shave with my Christey razor .I might try putting an injector blade in there but in the mean time I've got some old stock to try.

That's the beveled edge alright! The leading edge of the head of the razor has that slight bevel. Gem changed the design of the Damaskeene slightly during the production run and I believe the bevel on the head started appearing somewhere in or after 1917. I think @spidey9 had mentioned earlier in this chain that the beveled head and the curved head Damaskeenes shave very much the same and I concur. Both are great razors!
