*DONE* PIF TOBS Sandalwood cream and Proaso (white)

The one I know best is not technically "foreign" because it is spoken here in the states, but I studied American Sign Language in college. Hope that counts. And I also took Spanish in highschool, but most of that has left my knowledge for the most part

Me: 3 years German in HS, BA in German and Russian, currently Ph.D. student (ABD) in Germanic Linguistics. (also: 3 semesters Dutch, 1 semester Japanese and Chinese). I'll be happy to scrub toilets after 8-9 years of grad school.

I wanted to let you know that the Proraso and TOBS arrived on Saturday.

I had a chance to use the TOBS Sandlewood for this morning's shave and was very impressed. Reaction to the sandalwood scent, in my house, was definitely mixed. My 17-year old daughter loved the scent and was ready to go out and buy herself a tub. My wife, however, is much more sensitive to scents and did not have as positive a reaction.

 

That's good. I find that an extra rinse or two with water afterwards tones down the scent a little, otherwise I can still get a whiff of it from my own face for a few hours. I think it's balanced out with Speick or Nivea, depending on your skin. My mom likes it, too, but my wife didn't seem to mind. Also, maybe your daughter now knows you'd better relate to a guy who does wet-shaving too. I have a 9-year old daughter, and she's just happy when I don't have "pokies" on my face.
