The Van Der Hagen Deluxe Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #30 silvertip badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Scotch & Stowe razor w/ Maggard Stainless Fat Handle with an Astra SP blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Well, the only menthol will be as part of my shower, but I'll do my shave plan now, then follow in another post with the shower.

My 3rd use of this Razor , using an NOS Blade this time.Actually felt better than when used with a twin , the shave being smooth and comfortable.
After the J3 this may be my favourite modern Schick when using a single blade , I quite like the feel of it despite the handle being short in comparison to the J3.
