    August 3 SOTD:

    Stirling Synthetic Brush
    Palmolive Classic SC
    Gillette Super Adjustable
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Clubman AS
  2. Today's shave
Hot water wash with a washcloth
    FS silvertip
    Bombed Taconic Lime
    Marvy unbreakable mug
Dovo 98 Pearlex 5/8 full hollow round end
    Pinaud Lime SEC
Today's shave was nice. The lime soap slipped into the mug worked well. Very inexpensive brush has been a joy to use. The recently rehoned pearlex did very well. Three passes left me with a dfs+ shave, perfecr cept for a spot just under my chin. Finished with SEC.
Hope y'all did as well, or better.

  8. Bob, how long do you wet your Stirling bath soap before you wash with it? The longer, the more bubbly, right?

  17. Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz would be happy with this shave, if he was capable of that emotion, which he is not. Cryogen nicely cooled my face, waiting patiently for the HIS to build up 42 lather, which it gladly did, building lather being its purpose in life. The 5/8 Torrey had an altogether more sinister purpose in life, namely, to shorten the lives of as many whiskers as possible in the most efficient manner possible. It was sometimes unhappy with the inefficient manner it which it was wielded, and on these occasions, it would take a small sliver of skin along with its normal prey, just to remind the wielder of his inattentive ways. Today was just such an occasion. The 42 aftershave gleefully punished these transgressions, but then soothed them a bit. Further soothing would be left to WSP Tobacco balm, which returned some coolness while bedding down the stinging nerves the alcohol had aroused.
