    This Schick razor and the NOS Dutch blade are the dogs danglies. 6 shaves now and it is as sharp as the first shave. Have a blessed day gentlemen.

    Soap bowl - edwin jagger brushed nickel
    Lathering apothecary mug - van der hagen
    Moisturizer - bull dog

    I wanted to shave with the PAL Adjustable again today to test out the impact of the soap on the shave. No surprise, the Haslinger out-performed the Sterling. No burn at all although I did get a small collection of weepers. I'm laying this more on the blade being at end of life than anything else. Normally 4 or 5 shaves is all I'll get out of a Schick and today's shave was number 5. Any user error is conveniently excused. :rofl: Both recent shaves have left me super smooth with a super efficient shave that will outlast most anything else out there. :happy036:

    With this shave I can now make the PAL Adjustable available for a pass around. I plan to post something on this in a separate thread in the next week or so. :)

    Very gracious of you Karl! People jump on this! It's a funny thing for me with injector blades, when they are nearing the end of their service life I don't get a rough feeling from them like DE blades rather it just takes more work to get the job done. :happy088:

    I'll sign up to try it! I'm on both of Tom's injector pass-arounds at the moment, and will be trying Ben's Hussy in the pass-around as well. It's so much fun to try razors without any risk.

    Thanks - the vintage Kent performed really well - albeit being Kent-floppy and the Wickham 1912 Cashmere has become one of my favorite soaps.
