I wanted to shave with the PAL Adjustable again today to test out the impact of the soap on the shave. No surprise, the Haslinger out-performed the Sterling. No burn at all although I did get a small collection of weepers. I'm laying this more on the blade being at end of life than anything else. Normally 4 or 5 shaves is all I'll get out of a Schick and today's shave was number 5. Any user error is conveniently excused. Both recent shaves have left me super smooth with a super efficient shave that will outlast most anything else out there. With this shave I can now make the PAL Adjustable available for a pass around. I plan to post something on this in a separate thread in the next week or so. Very gracious of you Karl! People jump on this! It's a funny thing for me with injector blades, when they are nearing the end of their service life I don't get a rough feeling from them like DE blades rather it just takes more work to get the job done.
I'll sign up to try it! I'm on both of Tom's injector pass-arounds at the moment, and will be trying Ben's Hussy in the pass-around as well. It's so much fun to try razors without any risk.

Thanks - the vintage Kent performed really well - albeit being Kent-floppy and the Wickham 1912 Cashmere has become one of my favorite soaps.
