Shave 7 much like shave 6. Nice DFS result but some burn on the neck from the Alum. A mix of satisfying strokes and some that were stop and go. :git:

    Menthol Monday

Razor: Gillette SS 1947 NDC Wings
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Brush: Simpsons CH1 Chubby Best Badger
    Soap: Gillette Menthol Cream
    Aftershave: Aqua Velva
    TSD M Bomb
    Bowl: Yokohama Studio
Great three pass shave this evening. The M Bomb made a tremendous difference in the cooling effect of the Gillette Menthol Cream. Silver Blue blade is a winner as everyone knows.

    Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Jayaruh #90
    Edwin Jagger DE 89
    Wilkinson Sword Super Sword-Edge
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    T.N. Dickinson's WH
    Pinaud Vegetal

I am really liking this setup. If I had to use only one soap for the rest of my life, I would be happy to use MWF. It is a wonderful soap.

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #90 Tuxedo synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Edwin Jagger DE 89 razor with a Wilkinson Sword Super Sword-Edge Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Vegetal After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Slow 2 pass BBS. Nice shave.

a/s: Avon Oland on one side, O.S. Burley on the other. Either they're virtually identical or somebody filled the Shulton bottle with Avon, which I have to doubt (of ALL things to fill one with...Oland???)

Guy another great photo. Who makes the razor case you are using with the Cobra Classic? And does it work well?

Thanks Clint. They are from West Coast Shaving. They come in two sizes and two colors and you can buy without the Badger and Blade logo on them. I have two in brown, and one in black.

Thank you I thought that might be the one. I want something to keep the Cobra in to help minimize scratches.

They are very well made and half the cost of another that I paid almost $50 and not worth it compare to these. Well worth the cost of admission to protect my 2 Cobra's and one Toggle.
