1. No picture today. I was in a hurry this morning. Shaved in the shower with a Fusion and canned Nivea shave cream. It has been many months since I used a fusion. Very near BBS. There were a few areas that suffered irritation. All in all, I was impressed.

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Jayaruh #90
    Edwin Jagger DE 89
    Wilkinson Sword Super Sword-Edge
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    T.N. Dickinson's WH
    Pinaud Vegetal

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #90 Tuxedo synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Edwin Jagger DE 89 razor with a Wilkinson Sword Super Sword-Edge Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with T.N. Dickinson's WH and then Pinaud Vegetal After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
  4. Thank you very much gentlemen, you are too kind - Doug Korn certainly outdid himself on this brush :happy088:
  5. Thank you sir - you are too kind :happy088:

The Epsilon 2-band knot is very dense and cloud soft, yet has a noticeable backbone - a fantastic knot, that I cannot recommend highly enough. I was just fortunate enough to crack the original handle, to end up with this beauty ;)

  6. Razor: iKon Shavecraft
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (4)
Brush: Oscar 11, El Druida Manchurian
    Soap: Route 66 Sweeny Todd
Aftershave: Folsom & Company Shady Past

I guess the aftershave is appropriate for this shave. I didn't use the razor in the picture and I didn't use the brush in the picture. One of the key saying in the Marine Corps is to improvise, overcome, and adapt. So that's what I did. Had a change of heart and went with it.
Long story short, an amazing close comfortable shave. The iKon Shavecraft is a razor you have to respect, but if you do it is a great performer. There is not I can say about this brush other than fantastic. In every way!!!

  13. Shave 8. First shave with my ERN 1934 with a fresh hone from @Billyfergie. It was really helpful to have a high quality hone from someone who's work you know. It was a slightly better edge than my Never Fail but the same grind. So, what happened? I learned that my biggest opportunities for improved shaves come from me and not the razor. :shocked003:

It was a slightly better shave than the day before but not revolutionary. No surprise but Darn! :happy102:
