I must be really dense on this. I have a brand new double sided king stone that is 1K and 6K but for the life of me I can't tell which side is smoother. Both sides seem equally smooth. Can you tell me which side is which? The stone is tan and brown. How long does it take to smooth them out? Thanks.
Do you own the stone? Differences may be subtle but in hand you should be able to tell. If not a razor certainly would tell you.
