This was my shave setup this morning, and it reminded me how much I love vintage open combs. The New Standard is wonderfully aggressive, more so then the New IMO and the additional weight is fabulous. The Pol Silver was smooth and sharp, top tier for sure! Everything worked in harmony for a three pass BBS. 9 hours later and still smooth. Have a great evening friends!

Another exceptionally smooth shave this morning. Once dialed in, the MW soap is extremely slick with light cooling from the menthol. Going with a traditional 3 pass shave followed by minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS. That one spot on the ride side of my neck eludes me most work mornings. The Timeless OC is a very smooth and efficient razor. I finished up the shave with a splash of Fine Platinum. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Good morning friends! It seems like its been a really long time since I've used my Tabac and what a shame because it always delivers top notch lather. The New Standard has a good bit of aggression to it and paired with a sharp blade like the Pol Silver will definitely bite if your technique wavers. Waver and bite it did and I gave myself a weeper on the neck. Cold water and alum close it up nicely though and other then that the shave could not have been better. This was a very nice shave and will be one to remember and I put down the DE's and focus on SE's during the month of SEptember. Have a great day and great shaves my friends!

A fantastic start to a Wednesday morning. During the week, I strive for morning shave to be drama free. Route 66 is a perfect soap for a drama free shave. The soap is very easy to lather and provides a rich slick lather. Sticking with my normal 3 routine with minimal touch ups ended in a near prefect shave. The Timeless OC is exceptionally smooth and efficient. I used Myrsol F/Extra to finish off the shave. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

Hello folks, here's another OC SOTD for today. I shaved around midnight this morning, but it must not have been very close, because I had quite a bit of stubble until a few minutes ago. I used a razor head/handle combination I haven't used in a while. It is a SABI T-1 handle with a Pearl SSH-01 head. This is a great combo. I paired it with a Gillette Platinum Plus blade from Brazil. I got a great close shave with the two. The Caties Bubbles is a great soap as well. It provided good lather, and was very slick once I got the water ratio right. All in all a great shave.
