Well once again this Carbo Magnetic provided a fine shave. And the magnetic qualities are making me feel younger every day! The advertisement below says the razor will "...close shave the hardest beard and leave no smarting". And its true...after shaving with it I am no smarter than I was before I used it! And after my three month free trial, I don't think I will return it!

  9. I salute the great region of Scandinavia - my Norwegian Brutalt Bra soap is awesome. I love the mild lavender scent, the rich, easy-to-build lather, the good blade glide, and the moisturizing, comfortable post-shave feeling it gives. The Hega aftershave from Sweden has a very pleasant neutral scent and it feels very comfortable on the skin. This shave was most enjoyable as well as very close! :happy088: :happy088:
  10. SOTD: Favorites—or at least some of my favorites—used in today's shave. This restored Solingen-made Böhler-Stahl 5/8 round-point has always impressed me with a keen, smooth edge and nimbleness. Custom-made Oscar11 boar brush and Route 66 blood-orange scented 'Sweeney Todd' soap. Finished with the big chill of Fine 'Snake Bite.' Great Saturday shave…

  14. Even with the Bunny , you can`t do foolish things that you have learned over the years NOT to do, like try an ATG stroke ahead of time, before you have adequately shaved the proper areas. Don`t do anything out of turn or it will bite you. Or at least ME. Miss Bunny is the best razor I have ever owned. But nothing is perfect (although close).

  15. Gillette Fat Handle Gold Tech with a Lab Blue blade, FS Badger brush, Proraso Green cream and Aqua Velva for a great three pass BBS shave. This is one razor that will not give any irritation at all and provides a very comfortable shave. IMG_0695.jpg

Razor: Bunny -v3 set on "Mild"
    Blade: Ted Pella (3)
    Lather:Nivea Gel
    A/s Gillette Gel/ Brut
Newspaper Date: Dec. 24,1943 (Christmas Eve)

Again a fantastic 2 pass shave with Miss Bunny. 1st pass, WTG all the way, no problems, smooth, feeling great. The 2nd pass ATG/WTG/XTG. That was where I put the wrong foot forward, and tried an ATG stroke before properly cleaning most hairs out of the concave area under my chin, and on my chin, got bitten in 2 places, that took a styptic to stop the red stuff (learned my lesson), follow protocol. You may vary from time to time, but be very careful. I actually ended up with a near Dolphin smooth shave, even with the misstep. I love God, Country and Family in that order. I LIKE Miss Bunny. A Happy Camper is me!! I wish all members a wonderful shave today.

  18. SOTD:

    Soap: Derby shave cream-Lemon
Razor: Edwin Jagger laser cut 3D DE
    Blade: rapira
    Bowl: Edwin Jagger brushed nickel
Brush: wolf whiskers custom synthetic with bishop style and rce #15 colorway
    Aftershave: Pinaud's vanilla
Shave Towel: Dallas Cowboys, obviously. "Dak to the future"

What a pleasant surprise with this soap. It lathered very easy and had great slickness. I felt the face feel afterwards could be better however. The scent was quite pleasant...a fresh, clean, lemon that was much stronger when whipped into a lather. It did have a bit of an artificial slant to it, though. For the price and the sheer size of the tube, this is a definite winner.
