Hello all, To explain the title, I would be a newbie to this forum, but not to wet shaving. I jumped in full throttle at the beginning of this year with an Omega 6214 silvertip and Merkur 38C, but since that time, after the RAD fever struck, I have purchased over 40 razors, most of which are Gillettes, along with some Merkurs, Gems, and Injectors. My fave blades are Derby, but I will take an occasional foray into Featherland from time to time (especially when using a slant). My brush rotation is a Vulfix 2235, Shavemac bulb type, and a Rooney 2/1, all in super. The Omega has sadly become no more than a decorative item due to excessive shedding. My cream preference is TOBs, especially the almond, and on the rare occasions I use soap, I like the very modest Van Der Hagen deluxe infused with an essential oil (sage is quite wonderful, BTW). Anyway, I don't want to get too long-winded on an intro post. I just wanted to say hello, and that I'm looking forward to some invigorating shave talk.
