Tues 13th Sept Omega s10065 Syn. OSP Bay Rum Ever Ready Chrome Plated Razor [ aka "Streamline " etc ] Gem S/S [ 1 ] Alum Rub /Rinse off Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion After 12 days on Injectors, chose to return to ER/GEM SE Razors with one of my Favourites. Though more challenging than Injectors, this SE shave was a treat. Using the Weight and a Light touch, I was rewarded with a most satisfying Shave with all boxes ticked, quick-smooth and ultra close in all areas. For me this knocks all Injector Shaves out of the Water. For those of you that have this Razor you will know how it feels, providing you have learnt to use it . I know some feel that is too heavy and cumbersome , but try it again and you may well be surprised.

Total Dad Shave: Tabacstag + Reserve Cool This reminds me so much of my Dad. He was an Aqua Velva man, and BM Reserve Cool is an homage to the classic scent - not the same as today's version. Reserve does not burn at all, and absorbs quickly. I like the flow limiter - it will help heavy handed men like me to make this stuff last. It seems to have a slightly thicker consistency than most aftershaves, but it does not feel oily. This shave was not a rough one - Tabac never fails - so I can not say much about soothing. It did leave my skin soft and comfortable. On first impression, Reserve Cool is a top notch aftershave. Tabac also reminds me of my Dad, since he used it in his mug for decades. SOTD September 13, 2016 Blade: GEM Stainless Razor: GEM Micro-matic Open Comb Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic Lather: Through The Fire Fine Craft 'The Beast' sample Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Barbasol Pacific Rush, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, touch-up I am improving technique with the GEM MMOC. Better shave today than yesterday. Only one tiny weeper and less redness on my neck. Basically I have to think no pressure at all combined with a flat cap against my face. It provides a really close shave with those things in mind. Have a great day!
Hi there - haven't been too active here lately, time for a SOTD post - Mystic Water Sardinian Honey (Sample) - Maggard 22mm Synthetik - PAL injecto-matic - Ted Pella/Personna Blade - Tüff sensitiv Rasierwasser I used Mystic Water Soap for the first time - fantastic stuff. Lots of nice, slick, creamy lather - no problems at all. Two passes, BBS face and my skin feels great after the shave
