I think I am marginally improved Tom but still get angina from time to time so I'm pretty limited in what I can do now. But as they say there is always someone worse off. Here is his facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/wallisknives
Wonderful shave. Two new razors Honed up today. One from Japan, and one from Germany. I used the smaller German razor to do my mustache area, since its a mustache razor anyway. It works great. I tried to hone it a week or two ago, and couldn't do it, those smaller blades are very difficult. Razors- Japanese Dorko. Large and heavy. I LIKE IT!! German "Pfeilring Inox" Solingen. Brush- Zenith Boar Soap- Stirling Ozark Trail Aftershave- Yardley Gold. great Sandalwood scent.

7/8" Pipe from Geo Wostenholm. I'm really enjoying the Orange Chill soap from Stirling. I may be compelled to change my opinion on this line of soaps…
Sweet shave. Two passes, , very comfortable, without nicks or cuts. Razors- "The Gong" "Pfeilring Inox" Solingen, for the Mustache area. Soap- "Arko Sandalwood" scented Brush- Vintage Mystery Boar. "My Little Piglet". It may be tiny, but it's a real powerhouse with the soaps. Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Mmmmm Goood.
I grate a couple of sticks, let it air out 2-3 weeks. Then I put some sandalwood oils with it, mix it by hand, put it in the microwave until just warm 15-20 seconds, then mix some more. I then press into a container. Viola, sandalwood scented Arko. I've done this for a couple of years. Avon Spicy, Lavender, and Rose are a few others. The wife loves the rose and Lavender for herself.
Day 3 with the Schick adjustable that's on the pass-around and I mixed it up a bit... Weekends are usually my SR shave days and, as I didn't want to miss out on a straight razor shave, I did one pass with the SR and another pass with the Schick. It was a great combination and like a dream come true! Below is my Kiebitz SR and the Schick adjustable side by side! One pass with each and I ended up with a BBS!

Day 4 with the Schick adjustable and I made it a hybrid shave like yesterday. Here's the Schick adjustable alongside my Wade and Butcher "elite". One pass with the Wade and Butcher left me feeling fairly clean, and the second pass with the Schick topped it off! I ended up with a comfortable BBS! My son stopped by yesterday evening and stayed overnight. Well, I showed him the Schick and he had to try it. He's a bit intimidated by anything beyond a cartridge, but he gave it a go this morning on a setting of 2. He likes it! I told him to get on the pass around.
