  3. Gillette Superspeed (X2), Lab Blue blade, Royal London Boar brush, Proraso Green soap, Witch hazel and Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum after shave. Because of the excellent shave I had yesterday, I figured a two pass would be about it for today, and I was right and got a nice BBS shave. Also, on a side note, I would like to thank david of central florida for identifying this brush I got on Ebay. It is from a three part set (razor handle, brush and mug) depicting a horse and carriage and I am assuming it's the royal carriage from England as another set he sent a pic of shows a royal coat of arms. This is a very good boar brush as it is very soft, it's never been used til today, and almost acts like a synthetic. Only thing is since it is ceramic and very smooth, it is very slippery when wet. It almost landed in the sink when I was lathering my face and glad that my reflexes are still good. IMG_0731.jpg

  4. This will be my last time using the Glacial MITA soap for a while because it's not going to be available until next year, hopefully and I don't want to finish it off too fast - in fact I'll only be using my Glacial soaps once a week, which will be Menthol Monday. My stock is running low and at the present time I don't have the moolah to replace them. The shave I had this morning was such a delight - so frigidly-cold with perfect lather, great blade glide and so comfortable. The Diana balm went on like a ton of ice-cold bricks, and the Arctique aftershave splash felt so intense with its menthol power, yet it was also very soothing. Lucky for me its scent never disrupts my choice of eau de toilette or cologne! :happy088: :happy088:

A 3 pass Shave: 2 WTGs, and 1 ATG/XTG. !st 2 passes were without incident, smooth sailing all the way. The 3rd pass was pretty much the same with 2 small weepers(cold water fixed that). A detailed clean up, using some thin lather in different places. I can assure you that I`m so close to a Dolphin finish, it scares me. I believe, that if I didn't have that area under my chin , it would be Dolphin perfect. I am so pleased with this morning`s shave, I wish everyone could duplicate it. Best wishes. 9. Ahhhhhh... A much needed mild shave today. I've been focusing on the SE razors this month and, well, they are hit and miss for me and my face needed a break.

    Razor: Schick G1 injector
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Lather: La Toja shave stick
Post: Witch hazel splash, TSD Russian Leather, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, XTG

What a fine shave! The G1 continues to provide amazing shaves. I used a LOT more water today in face lathering the La Toja shave stick. I often have drying lather when using a shave stick, but today was better. It's a little more messy when lathering after applying the face stick. It seems the more water you use the better results. Today's lather was really terrific.

My face is still recovering after a week of shaves with the GEM MMOC. My neck was a little tender this morning but feels fine now. I used a healthy splash of witch hazel followed by TSD's Russian Leather. What a great scent! Smells like a leather shop. Nivea balm always finishes me off nicely.

Hope you all have a great weekend!
