  3. Today is day 2 of using the Schick adjustable.

I used my Maggards 24mm synthetic and Stirling glacial lemon chill, along with my supermarket brand menthol aftershave.

Keeping in mind the chin weepers I got yesterday, I dialed the razor down to 6 and did 2 passes. I still got a weeper on my chin, but I'm attributing this to the razor being new to me. It's not the razor, it's me.

The shave was not as aggressive as yesterday's as I had it set on 7 for that first day. Either way, after 2 passes, it was another BBS shave most all the way around with the twin blade! It was a real nice shave!

I like the handle on this razor and, even though it's light, the razor is so efficient that it doesn't need any weight. This razor is ergonomically correct! It's a natural fit in my hand!

I would like to do a side by side comparison with my PAL adjustable to see how close these razors really are, similar to what @ob1page did.

I love the PAL, but this Schick is proving to be an excellent razor so far! So anyone that didn't sign up for this pass around and want to try it, do it now! You will be glad you did.

Razor- PAL InjectoMatic / Schick E3
    Blade- Chinese Schick
    Soap- WSP Black Amber Vanille
    Post Care- Crystal Alum
    Thayers Witch Hazel
    Avon Tai Winds

First day of injector head to head shaves. I loaded up brand new Chick blades, lathered up a wonderful bowl of WSP and went at it. I used the PAL on my right side and the Schick on the left. After focusing on SE razors the weight, or lack thereof, took a few strokes to get used to. There was good reduction from both sides, very smooth and maneuverable. BBS finish from both. The alum decided the winner today. I sprayed on the Thayers and grabbed the alum, Schick side was silent, there was feedback from the PAL. Not horrible feedback but it was there. I splashed on some Avon Tai Winds, first time using it and I love the scent, and again nothing from the Schick side, burning from the PAL. In what I believe to be an upset the Schick wins the round. The PAL gets another try this weekend. Have a great day folks!

Excellent shave this morning with the PAL Injecto-Matic fitted with a Dutch Danglies blade. Wonderful lather from La Toja shave stick, it's a favorite of mine. Three passes for a very refreshing dolphin smooth finish. Enjoy your day friends. :)

    : Chinese Schick
    Razor: Schick G1 injector
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Lather: La Toja shave stick
Post: Witch hazel splash, TSD Russian Leather, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, XTG

What a fine shave! The G1 continues to provide amazing shaves. I used a LOT more water today in face lathering the La Toja shave stick. I often have drying lather when using a shave stick, but today was better. It's a little more messy when lathering after applying the face stick. It seems the more water you use the better results. Today's lather was really terrific.

My face is still recovering after a week of shaves with the GEM MMOC. My neck was a little tender this morning but feels fine now. I used a healthy splash of witch hazel followed by TSD's Russian Leather. What a great scent! Smells like a leather shop. Nivea balm always finishes me off nicely.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

    Today's Shave: Saturday September 17, 2016

    PAL Injecto-Matic (British made)
    NOS Personna 74 Tungsten (5)
    Whipped Dog 24mm synthetic brush
    Stirling Barbershop soap & aftershave

Some days I just want a close irritation-free shave without a lot of effort or the need to remain highly focused. Today was one of those days, and the British PAL Injecto-Matic loaded with a Personna 74 delivered beautifully. :happy088:

  16. Any thoughts on comparing the 74s with a Schick in the PAL IM? Beautiful razor. :happy036:
  17. I like that of Bob.
