I have similar feelings about the MMOC. I really want to like it but it leaves my face feeling raw. The witch hazel and after shave burn quite a bit and my neck always had red splotches. I went with the lightest touch I could but still didn't get comfortable shaves. The shaves were close, but not comfortable during shaving or a few hours after.
A Lot of Folks have a Love/Hate Relationship with the OCMM..Its One of those SEs You Will Either Love or Hate I Reckon..It was Never a Favourite of Mine..The Gem Clog Pruf is Almost the Same Razor with a Guard Bar Design & Far More User Friendly.. That was Why they Brought it Out..The OCMM take a Super Light Touch to Use & there is Literally No Protection from the Blade..Its Actually Has the Same Blade Gap as the Clog Pruf but the Clog Pruf has the Protection of the Guard Bar Design.. SOTD SEptember 23rd Schick G1 Chick (5) Stirling Executive Man Stirling 24mm Synthetic Lime AS & Nivea ASB Good morning friends! A bit of a rough shave from the G1 this morning. After the first pass it became apparent that the Chick blade in my G1 was past its prime. After my 3 passes the alum confirmed my suspicions and let me know that a few spots were not happy. Some of my homemade lime AS and Nivea sensitive ASB cooled and soothed nicely. Have a great day my friends!

I agree with the MMOC comments above. I want to like this razor, but I don't think my face is going to go along with the idea. It shaves close, but the journey to get there is not pleasant. When I'm done maybe I'll stay with aggressive and pull out the E2. HERM
