Judging by the quality of their other shaving products, it's got to be, at the least. good enough to set the proper edge for a butter knife!
Suspicious marketing-- "Each time you use them, they get finer." "Ideal for field use..." Makes it seem like a generic whetstone like for knives. I suspect it is a fairly coarse ceramic material that loads up with swarf, requiring regular cleaning.
Stay away! I have seen so many reviews on this... Basically you pay for what you get!... Try another brand! Look around, before you buy is my suggestion! Dark
