That is very cool. My dad had a print shop and growing up I used to sort type for him on weekends. I remember all sorts of blocks with interesting images.

I thought I was getting an E4, but it turned out to be a G1. Even better, because it turns out to be a birth era razor. The two patents along with the Schick Injector stamp put it in 1946-47 era. They started stamping Eversharp-Schick in the middle of 1947. So, that is about as close to a Schick birth year razor that I can get, 1947 being my birth year. It had an old blade in it. It was rusty and had no slots in it. I removed the blade before cleaning.

Those G's are good razors. A bit milder than the E, but none the less, an efficient razor for BBS shaves.

Arrived today, the Eversharp Hydro-Magic and NOS pack of Schick Injector blades. I noticed that the head, while not exactly designed after the I1, seems to be patterned after the early I(55). At least to me that seems so.

I use those printing plates for leather stamps. Cool find! I have a Durham Duplex one.
