  2. great one, Doug!!

  3. Thanks Paul. I have a sample of the soap, the scent and menthol is terrific.
  4. y'know, speaking of soap samples, I just noticed the Williams Mug Soap size...just 1.75 oz. And that seems like a lot!

    Prep: Musgo Real classic
    Razor: Maggard Slant
    Blade: Trig

    Brush: Maggard 24mm synthetic
    Soap: Local Gent- Tobacco Lounge
    Aftershave: WSP Tobacco
Balm: HEV Cognac & Cuban Cigars

2 pass shave today, got a great lather from the Local Gent soap, and a nice Tobacco leathery scent. The Trig Blade has been working out much better than one would expect from a blade that doesn't get much love. Ended up with a nice shave, finished off with WSP aftershave and HEV balm. Hope everyone had a great shave!

  10. 1.75 Oz is not bad. Especially since Williams is a very hard soap, should last a long time, but I personally have bad luck with modern Williams (vintage stuff is awesome). I believe Van Der Hagen is around the same size as well. But gettinG back to Stirling, their samples are pretty generous and at $2.75 each theres a lot of bang for the buck since they last many shaves.
  11. Well, now, I just feel silly posting mine. Great picture!
  12. We had a much better go of it today and ended up with a CCS.
