Excellent shave I went with Casablanca today because I felt drawn to the Tobacco Rose scent. The lather was easy and plenty, thanks to the Bronze Shadow, and the Futur made two smooth passes. I think, on six, it's the most efficient razor I've used. The Maggard slant is smoother, and more efficient than the 39c, imho. Today's shave Menthol Monday Hot water wash Rubberset 49-4 original boar knot Bombed Sara's Creations lavender, mint, eucalyptus Gillette old type (25-28) Ladas (3) Iced Skin Bracer Today's shave was nice. The Rubberset took a long time to load, but once it did, it made tons of lather. The ot Gillette got modified somewhere in its long history. It took lots of concentration, feels like it didnt have a cap, like riding the blade. But it left me smooth. Finished with the icced up bracer, cold finish on a cool day.

Hot Water Prep & Massage with Argan Oil NOS Joseph Rogers & Son Miniature 4/8th Wedge (Freshly Honed) Kent Pure Badger Wickham 1912 Vegetal Soap Humphreys Witch Hazel I had My Maiden Shave Today with My Newly Acquired Miniature Joseph Rogers 4/8th Wedge..This is a Detailed Miniature Version of a 7/8th Wedge..Its Hallmarked & Says Cutlers to Her Majesties on the Tang..It has Bone Scale so It Would Probably have been Made around the Mid to Late 1800s..The Attention to Detail is Just Amazing..The Wedge Grind to the Factory Bevel is Pure Industrial Perfection.. I have Never Honed a Wedge before but this One was Straight Forward being NOS with a Factory Bevel..It Took a Killer Edge & it Shaved Very Smoothly & Cut Down 2 Days of Whiskers Quite Easily..The Blade is the Same Length (40 mm) a Rolls Razor SE Hollow Ground Blade which I am Used to Shaving with..So it Shaves Pretty Much like a Hollow Ground SE albeit Requiring more Attention.. I Got this Quite Cheap & its a Good Job Cause I thought it was a Full Size 7/8th in the Sellers Pics..Whit a Darn Numpty Heid.. The Smallest SR in Town.. Billy..

SOTD OCtober 10th Ericsson Open Comb Super-Max platinum Stirling 24mm synthetic Blades Grim Smolder Good morning friends! This morning I shaved of a good 4 days of stubble. My wraps of choice today were the Ericsson and Super-Max platinum. This was my first time trying the Super-Max and despite it being a very inexpensive it did a pretty good job. I did notice a tiny bit of tugging on my chin area but that may have been due to 4 days of growth to more down as well, we will see how it performs on my normal 2 days of growth before passing judgement.
