Polo Double black

Anyone using this?

I sniffed it today and really liked the pepper in it.

Basenotes has a write up on it and thanks to a recent post I may turn some of this into A/S, that if witch hazel does not interfere with the scent of the cologne.

Let me know.

If you have not sniffed it take some time out to do so. It is really good.

 

Not bad but...

I like the regular Polo Black better.

 

I use it all the time lots of times after a workout..I don't like it in the summer, too strong, good for the other 3 seasons tho, especially fall.

 

I've got a bottle of the Polo Double Black too, I like it.....I kind of get a bit of patchouli scent from it too.......I do like the peppery scent though.....smells great

Is this similar to Penhaligon's Opus? Unfortunately that one triggers a migraine for me.

 

I had a bottle of Opus, I had to sell it...

I don't think it's very similar.....I get a lot of patchouli,....and it's peppery..hard for me to describe

Reading the description at basenotes......I guess I do get a little Mango and Nutmeg too....and I do think the Juniper Berry is in there too...

I wish it lasted longer on me, poor staying power on me ...................but I do like the scent It should be good this winter.

thanks. ive gotten picky when it comes to dept. store stuff. i actually bought it blind only off what basenotes.com was saying..hahaha.
