Handle could be stainless as it states on the site, but not sure about the head. also, stainless steel isn't really expensive and complete razors can be done for about that price or less. just depends on how much money manufacturers want to make, considering they buy it in bulk purchases.
I saw this thread last night and it motivated me to my open combs into the rotation. This is a circa 1930 Otto Roth.
I looked, your right it does. Mine is v-1, i had it before they closed and reopened. So i can only speak for the one I have.
Either way, David, it's a nice looking razor. And if memory serves me from last year, you have several OC razors, all of which I found very interesting. ... To be continued... Don

Another great picture Mark. Did you find the iKon OC similar to the New Deluxe? I might need to put away my newer toys and give my iKon OC a go before the end of the month.
October 19, 2016 Wolfman WR-01 OC + Ti with Hempel Ti Feather (2) Zenith B02 Boar Reef Point Dragon’s Blood Witch Hazel Fine Platinum The big Zenith boar whipped up the Reef Point soap into a mountain of rich slick lather. I can't say enough good things about this soap. It is very easy to lather, the performance is excellent and the scent is fantastic. When my inventory thins out some, I will be buying some other Reef Point soaps. I stuck with a three pass shave this morning. After minimal touch ups, I caught the baby which is not something I try for on weekdays but a very nice result. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

Thank you Doug. I have noticed your photos have improved as well. It does take more time than using the phone for pics.
Razor: Gillette Goodwill 1930's Ball End Open Comb (Made in Canada) Blade: Personna Platinum (6) Brush: Shavemac Zebra, Honeycomb 2 Band Soap: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle Aftershave: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle Balm Another near BBS today with this gear. The Goodwill OC is a fine razor and is easy to maneuver around trouble spots. The Shavemac combined with the Route 66 Bourbon Jungle whips up a thick rich lather.
The New Standard and a Polsilver for today's shave. I'm trying to finish this Proraso but I have a few more days left at least. Perfectly smooth 2 pass shave before work. This is a razor on par with anything out there IMHO. Be well everyone!
With utmost humility and heartfelt thanks to Brian@mrchick for an early birthday present of a Merkur 1904 OC, I now have another razor to use this month. Brian also sent me a tuck of Gillette silver blue blades. I loaded one into the 1904 for my initial run with this razor. For this shave I used my favorite brush, my Jayaruh#31(a brush Jim@Jayaruh handcrafted and I gave a driftwood finish and set a VS Silver Tip); my favorite soap WSP Vetiver and came away with a near BBS. My as usual alum block, cwr, my own concoction of fragrance oils and witch hazel was followed by an AS balm of shea butter/oatmeal of my own making. Soft, smooth, and supple. A spritz of Aramis Brasil Dream and I am in the heavenly graces of Her Majesty, SWMBO. With all seriousness aside, I really like this razor and it will rival my Gillette New for OC FaceTime. I will be changing the blade from the GSB to my blade of choice Pol/Silver. At first I thought it might be the aggressiveness of the razor until I got near my upper lip where I am extremely light handed. I could feel the tug of the blade. Overall I thought the 1904 to be very similar to the New in weight, feel, and navigation. A great addition of to my rotation. Many hearty Thanks, Brian. ... To be continued... Don
