  9. My first metal spinner.

    Found a local guy who makes them for $45-65 shipped. I like the California state map he put on it :)

    Here it is w/out the inner bearings insert installed;

    The engravings are the California state map ( ;) ) and the crossed arrows signifying friendship.

    This is what this model looks like finished;

  12. They are just a type of fidget toy.
    People use them for anything from stress, stopped smoking, not chewing on the nails, increase dexterity in fingers/hand, etc

    They have become quite the fad this year and it's hard to walk around the city here without seeing someone spinning one of the many, many versions that are available out there.

    Here are a couple of videos showing some uses/designs;

    This is the spinner that started it all: "The Torqbar":

    These FidgetCraft ones are very popular and sell for about $20:

  15. Just won a bid tonight on Ebay for my birthday razor. This is also my first adjustable. M2 Gillette Slim - 1967. It looks in better shape then me in the photos! Earlier this week I received the Grackle DOC from PAA and shaved with it the first time this morning - I liked the feel with Personna Blue blades and although on the mild side, I enjoyed it.
  16. Good job on the Slim. Great razor!
