Bunny v PAL round 1 : Two passes with the PAL and something didn't feel quite right, just not cutting as close as expected even on the H setting. I finished the beard with the Bunny, super smooth and close as usual. Now inspecting the PAL I found the Plus Plat not seated properly, sitting too far back, thus minimizing blade exposure and slightly out of alignment. Reinserted the key and fiddled with it until it looked better then proceeded with the head shave at the mid setting .. Fantastic. Mild but superbly close, on balance edging out the Hawk for best head shave I've had. Love it. Except for the fiddling part. Proper Bunny comparo tomorrow.

I Would Suggest Taking it Back Onto the Bevel Hone Again..If its Not Wicked Sharp from the Bevel Hone You are Taking it Off Too Early..Test Shaving it from that Hone is a Good Idea in the Early Stages of Honing..And..Yeah it Should Shave Well from the Bevel Hone..:happy088:

I like it a lot. It's really great on my trouble areas. Weight and size are perfect for me.

Tonight was my third shave with the Hawk, and up until tonight I was a little less than impressed with its performance. It is just a personal thing, but if I am going to shave with something big enough to need a Wide Load sign on it, I want it to be efficient enough that I don't have to spend a lot of time trying to buff out spots in order to get a good shave.

First shave I started with the aluminum handle it came with. That didn't make it past the first pass before I switched to a heavier Maggard SS handle. Tonight I put on a big ole 98mm, 89gm handle which brought the whole thing up to 105 grams. I don't know whether it was the weight, or the length and my grip way at the end, or a combination of both, but tonight was a PERFECT shave.

I also have only used the Feather Pro's, and maybe a Super would really kick it up a notch.

Considering the price asked for this head, I would have to rate it as a super deal.

    Have a great evening, everyone...

Well if there is a razor to end "the hunt" with, the Pal is a worthy one. It will always be in my rotation. I am really enjoying the mild/effecient shave of the Personna Super Stainless btw. If you haven't given it a go it is worth it. Super light, just the right length for me and easy to keep even pressure on the head without over doing it. Another amazing shaver imo:git:

Yeah just arrived in the mail. Was lucky enough to pick them up for about $2.50/razor.
Most of these colors I've never even seen before.

Tonights shave. I know it is not an injector or one of my SE's, but I have not posted here in a while.

Wonderful shave with the Schick N1 this morning loaded with a twin blade. I had forgotten how much fun this Omega 48 brush is. It produces mounds of lather effortlessly and oh yes I do face lather with it. It made my shave twice as fast! Three passes for a refreshing dolphin smooth finish. Have a pleasant day friends. :happy005:

I have some Twins coming. Can't wait to try them. Question: Should they only go into L and M heads???
